When some action we perceive

Will evoke a strong reaction

Which somehow, we can’t relieve.

Some connections bring us laughter,

Others can bring us to tears,

Or incite us to feel anger…

Or just magnify our fears.

No matter what emotion comes,

If the action we observe,

Has the strength to leave an impact,

There’s a purpose it may serve.

We’re not solitary beings,

Other lives touch us each day,

We can learn so much by caring
