Annabella and the Raven
A story about love, written in rhyme for adults
by Carolyn Nelson
They say… ‘love comes at any age’
There are few who think that’s true,
For single ladies, past their prime,
Love will seldom come to view.
And even if love should arrive…
Baggage earned along the way
May become too big a burden
To easily cast away.
Ah, but maybe… that is maybe…
If some courage could be found,
Some honesty and openness…
Single life could turn around!
